Between Care and Busybody

It is said that if you care about someone too much will make you receive an award for being busybody. Well, it's not an award but rather an insult. what about when parents asking their child "where are you going?".

It is a simple question but most teenagers never answer the question straight forward, always answer it with a sinister remarks and a mental state of being pissed. Simple question needs simple answer but with simple answer comes another barrage of questions from their parents which is why the teenagers never want to answer that SIMPLE question.

Why the parents ask those questions? Is there a need for asking that question? Parents know that their child will be pissed hearing that question which is like a declaration of war between two nations, parents versus child. Parents who ask the question are parents who care about their children not busybody.

It is weird. Often we hear that one of the reasons for a child/teenager misbehaves is because of lack of attention from their parents. Is that true? It is more to an excuse than a reason. Children misbehave not to grab the attention from their parents but friends instead. Call it peer pressure. Apart of being with their parents, children spend most of their time with friends. Friends draw most part on the white sheet than parents. Parents are nothing but an observer.
